DRAG RACING LEGEND GRAEME COWIN NAMED GRAND MARSHALL

In recognition of a lifetime of commitment to drag racing, Willowbank Raceway has announced Graeme Cowin as the Grand Marshall of the 2016 Cruzin Magazine Nostaglia Drags and Hot Rod Reunion.
Tony Wedlock, President of Willowbank Raceway is proud to acknowledge Graeme Cowin as Grand Marshall of the event, “On behalf of Willowbank Raceway, we would like to thank Graeme and Wendy Cowin for their continued efforts to advance drag racing in Australia. Their ongoing success within the sport, and all their achievements throughout their long and storied career are a true testament of their commitment to the sport”.
When asked about the title, Cowin replied, “I am honoured to have been asked to be Grand Marshall for this event, The Cruzin' Magazine Nostalgia Drags. I love the history of our sport and look forward to being part of it for many years to come”.
Wendy and Graeme Cowin will be debuting their Aeroflow Nitro Hot Rods this Sunday at Willowbank Raceway. ‘Psycho’ a re-creation of one of their earliest racecars and ‘Bezerk’, driven by Shane Olive and Rick Gauci will complete three exhibition passes as part of the event.
