New Years Thunder 7th & 8th January

Dear Racers,

With the upcoming opening of the Queensland Borders to Domestic Travellers, the New Years Thunder Round (7th & 8th January) at Willowbank Raceway will be proceeding.

As of the 17th December, restrictions on travel into Queensland will be significantly lifted, allowing Race Teams that are fully vaccinated, along with a Negative COVID 19 Test to enter the State without a Quarantine Period. See the attached details below.

The Queensland Government is outlining that restrictions will continue to ease as the State moves towards 90% Vaccination rate.

The Professional Categories to appear at this New Years Thunder Round will include Pro Alcohol, Pro Slammer, Pro Stock, Top Bike, Pro Stock Motorcycle. With the postponement of the Heathcote "Spring Thunder" Round, a decision has been made to also include IHRA Pro Mod into this Round to further boost the show.

In relation to the Spectators attending the event, currently there is no Restrictions on the crowds attending the event. We will keep everyone up to date as we get closer to the event in relation to any changes on attending or competing at the event.
