Champions celebrated by Willowbank Raceway community
We reminisced, we laughed, we celebrated!
Friday the 11th of December was all about our racers, with our annual champions dinner held at Ipswich’s Pumpyard Bar and Brewery.
More than 90 members of our racing community attended to see 11 track champions recognised after a long and hard-fought year of racing in both the Queensland Drag Racing Championships (QDRC) and Street Series.
Congratulations to our champions Josh Fletcher (Street Sedan, Donnelly Blasting Services QDRC Outlaws), Susanne Fletcher (Powder Puff), Denis Ryan (Street Bike), Tony Bellert (QDRC Super Comp), Kellie Kidd (Knijff Earthmoving Modified), Tony Whyatt (Powercruise Super Sedan), Lucas Holz (Prime Signs/Speed Elec Super Street), Tammy Goldthorpe (Modified Bike), Dave Gauldie (Super Gas) and Tim Barron (Wallace Bishop Loyal Watches Junior Dragster).
