Jason Aldean, one of the biggest superstar acts in American music, will headline CMC Rocks QLD 2016 on March 11, 12 and 13. This will be Aldean’s first ever visit to Australia. Also making their first trip down under, Florida Georgia Line who are the current ACM and CMA Duo of the Year. “I Don’t Dance” hitmaker Lee Brice (USA) will return to the festival, after blowing crowds away with his debut performance this March.

The 2016 lineup features more international artists than any other year, with 18 overseas performers set to rock the site at Willowbank, near Ipswich. The list includes many of the artists whose hits are currently dominating Country Music, including Brantley Gilbert (USA), Kip Moore (USA), Tyler Farr (USA), Blackjack Billy (USA), Kelsea Ballerini (USA), Chase Rice (USA), The Cadillac Three (USA), The Road Hammers (Can), Tim Hicks (Can), CAM (USA) and Drake White and the Big Fire (USA). The festival will be the exclusive Queensland performances for all international artists.

“Having Jason Aldean or Florida Georgia Line would be massive, but both of them on one festival is going to be unbelievable,” said promoter Matthew Lazarus-Hall, CEO Chugg Entertainment. “With this lineup of international stars, plus some of the best acts in Australian country, this is going to be a totally unforgettable three days”.

Playing alongside performers from the USA and Canada will be some of the hottest local and NZ stars, including Morgan Evans, The Sunny Cowgirls, Adam Eckersley Band, Travis Collins, Buddy Goode, Jody Direen (NZ), Cam Scott (NZ), Kaylee Bell (NZ), Melanie Dyer, Caitlyn Shadbolt and Deep Creek Road.

Now in its ninth year of operation, CMC Rocks has established itself as the biggest country and roots music event in the southern hemisphere. Artist lineups have included some of the all time superstars of the country genre, including Alan Jackson, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Toby Keith, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Gary Allan and many more.

The popular Time to Pay ticket option will return for 2016, which allows patrons to secure tickets and pay them off in several easy installments.
