Fathers Day to be Boosted by Quarter-Mile Action

Father’s Day at the Logan Hyperdome is set to receive a nitro-powered boost this year, with the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars and Willowbank Raceway set to hit the popular shopping centre from 2-6 September.

Five Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars, two Factory Xtreme race cars and a range of other high-octane displays will take over the Hyperdome from Wednesday 2 September until Father’s Day on Sunday 6 September, including a special driver meet and greet in front of the Myer Centre on Saturday 5 September from 11:00am.

While Greg Leahy, Jake Donnelly, Peter Leahy, Josh Leahy and Dan Donnelly rub shoulders with the fans, AONFC and Willowbank Raceway promotional staff will be on-hand running competitions and selling event tickets, while the Hyperdome will be running a giveaway of a Fastrack Drag Racing Experience all week.
