The Street Machine Magazine sponsored Pro Street & Muscle Car Nationals is closing in rapidly with under 4 weeks to go to the big day. It’s time to get the paperwork out of the way if your keen to race with entries closing this Friday 26th February at 5pm. That’s just 3 days to go Trappy recon you can handle that?

Following discussions around the table with Pro Street Competitors, Willowbank has provided some Prize money for the major categories, not a huge amount, and this is listed on the Willowbank website at $200 for the win and $100 for runner up in each class
However, what’s been discussed is that people would much prefer some tow money instead, so a Tow Fund is being arranged by Willowbank and the racers, so we’ll be making sure the travelers get a little something for their troubles.
$300 from Sydney and Mackay.
$500 from Melbourne
$1000 from Adelaide and beyond.
They are the numbers that have been talked about but they will be finalized on the day depending on just how much support is available.
Simon Kryger is working on some sponsor deals in Sydney, Johnny Wilson has thrown in $3000 and Michael Gilbert and Willowbank have thrown in $1000 each, to get the ball rolling so if anyone else, with a business perhaps, would like to assist with the tow fund knowing its all going to be dished out to racers then please call Sue Syrmis or Tracey Fletcher 07 54615461 and let them know what you’d like to offer and they will be more than happy to assist. What will they receive you ask…they will be plugged throughout the day on the PA by the commentators, listed on the Willowbank Website, and they will be well thanked by the racers that their money has assisted and knowing they have benefited Pro Street Racing that’s all that I needed to know so drop in a thousand.
Corporate boxes will be available, the prices are being finalized, all info will be on the website from Wednesday, so again if your keen and wanna get out of the sun and into some cold ones then check out the Willowbank web site or email admin@willowbank-raceway.com.au to arrange yourself a box for the day.
