ENZED ANNOUNCES MAJOR SPONSORSHIP OF TOP FUEL CHAMPIONSHIPS

ENZED have been confirmed as the naming rights sponsors of the Australian Top Fuel Championships, to be held at Willowbank Raceway in April.
The Mobile hose and fitting specialists have also signed on as a major associate sponsor of the ANDRA Pro Series. The new sponsorship deals continue the company’s involvement in the sport, which began in 2009 with a naming rights arrangement of the New Year Series held at Willowbank Raceway followed by support of the ANDRA Pro Series.
The ENZED Top Fuel Championships will be held over April 17 and 18 at Willowbank Raceway, featuring ANDRA Pro Series Championship racing for Top Fuel, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Bike.
Parker Hannifin (incorporating ENZED) Marketing Manager Kevin Spiteri said he couldn’t be happier to be announcing ENZED’s extended involvement in the sport of drag racing in Australia.
“Our introduction to the sport of drag racing at the ENZED International New Year Series at Willowbank in 2009, followed up by our involvement in the ANDRA Pro Series, couldn’t have gone better,” said Spiteri.
“The results we achieved have produced direct benefits to both ENZED Service Centres and our national Hose Doctor network. It’s simply been one of the best sponsorship arrangements that we have ever been involved in.
“Given these results and the great relationships we have built over the past year, we couldn’t be happier to be returning to Willowbank as naming rights sponsors of the ENZED Top Fuel Championships, while at the same time signing on as a major associate of the ANDRA Pro Series.”
Willowbank Raceway Managing Director Steve Bettes said he was pleased to welcome ENZED back to the Ipswich quarter-mile.
“Our involvement with ENZED in January of 2009 was an absolute pleasure and I couldn’t be happier to welcome them back as the naming rights sponsor of our April event here at Willowbank Raceway,” said Steve.
“It is very exciting to see a company such as ENZED expanding its involvement in our sport of drag racing Australia-wide with their association with the ANDRA Pro Series, and I look forward to working with Kevin (Spiteri) and his team this year.
“The ENZED Top Fuel Championships are set to be a great event for racers and fans alike, with a Saturday/Sunday program to bring all the ANDRA Pro Series action of Top Fuel, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Bike over two massive days of racing.”
Willowbank Raceway is Queensland’s premier drag racing facility, located just 40 minutes from Brisbane and the Gold Coast. A non-for-profit organisation, the facility hosts a number of major events, including the upcoming ENZED Top Fuel Championships and the season-ending Castrol EDGE Winternationals in June, as well as year-round drag racing events including Test n Tunes and Street Series events.
