10/11 Street Series Information & Invitation

Cars: Must run slower than 11.50. No after-market electronics with the exception of computers for EFI cars. Excluded items include line-locks, transbrakes, two steps, throttle stops, etc.

Bikes: Must run slower than 10.00. No after-market electronics with the exception of a shift light and computer for EFI bikes and no wheelie bars. Excluded items include throttle stops, shift kits, air shifters, two steps, etc.

Series Rules:

All competitors will be permitted to run in one of the following Series and points earned in that series will not transfer to another series if the competitor chooses to change:

The three brackets to earn points will be:

Street Sedan: open to all cars that run in the following Eliminators. Quick Eliminator 11.50 – 12.99, Hot Street 13.00 – 14.99, and Street Eliminator 15.00 and over.  Cars will earn points in each Eliminator to be part of the Street Series.     Willowbank Raceway reserves the right to change the Eliminator cut-offs at any time throughout the year to ensure equal point scoring opportunities for all competitors.

Street Powder Puff Series: open to ladies only. Ladies who choose to run the Powder Puff Series are not permitted to run the same vehicle in the Street or Bike Series.  A vehicle competing in Street Sedan or Street Bike series driven by another person may compete with a different lady driver in the Street Powder Puff Series.

Street Bike Series: open to all bikes 10.00 and over. This eliminator will continue as a Track Championship round as long as it continues to be fully supported by the middle of the season.

Any vehicle that contests the Track Championship for the 2010/2011 season will not be permitted to run in the Street Sedan Series, Street Powder Puff Series or Street Bike Series, however the competitor may run any other vehicle at these Events.

Once a vehicle has been raced in the Sedan, Powder Puff or Bike Series and then competes in a Track Championship round, the points earned in the relative Series will remain with the entrant only if contested by another vehicle.

All competitors, even if running the same vehicle must have a separate Street Series number.

Those who don't have a permanent race number will be given a special "Street Series" number. If you are not an ANDRA member you will need to purchase an on day licence at the track.

The series commences on August 7^th 2010. Please check the website for further dates.

The top sixteen qualifiers of the Street Series and the top eight of the Powder Puff and Bike Eliminator will be presented with a specially designed "Street Championship Qualifier" trophy. 

We have allocated Prizemoney for the Street Series, Bike Eliminator and Powder Puff brackets, with $1000 to the winner and $200 to runner up. The bracket winners will become the Willowbank Street Champion, Willowbank Street Bike Champion and Willowbank Powder Puff Champion for 2011 and will receive (Bike Eliminator depending on numbers) the same "Track Championship" Trophy as our major meeting champions. Runner-up will receive their cheque on the night of the Shootout, and the winner trophies and cheques will be presented at Willowbank Raceway’s Track Champion Function. The winners will receive free entry to all Street Series events only and a Special pass which admits two people to all events at Willowbank Raceway for the following season.

Points for all brackets are earned on the basis of five points for each race that you win. As well, 5 bonus points are awarded for entering an event, provided you do at least one run in the eliminations. Points updates are available on our website site. www.willowbankraceway.com.au.

Gates open 2.30m qualifying from 3.00pm.

If you earned points in the 2009/2010 Street Series, you do not need to notify us unless you change the bracket you wish to earn points in.  This needs to be done prior to you earning any points.                                                                                                    

If you are new to the series or are changing brackets, fill out the following details NOW and send it back to us. Remember that we must have your form before you can earn points. Forms handed in at an event will not earn points for that round.
