TICKETS ON SALE FOR SEASON FINALE WINTERNATS

Tickets are now on sale for what will be the 48th running of the largest championship drag racing event held outside of the United States – the FUCHS Winternationals.
The FUCHS Winternationals will run from Thursday June 4th 2015 – Sunday June 7th 2015.
After returning to its traditional Thursday to Sunday format in 2014, for 2015 the event will return to its rightful place as the season finale to the national drag racing season, following recent calendar changes handed down by the national governing body ANDRA (Australian National Drag Racing Association).
“This year’s event was highly successful, with many national records set as part of hard and close racing held in front of a strong crowd,” said Willowbank Raceway CEO Tony Manson.
“As a result of 2014’s success, Willowbank Raceway is sticking with the Thursday to Sunday format for 2015 and with the recent announcement by ANDRA that the FUCHS Winternationals will once again be the final event of the National Championship season, we are certainly expecting it to be an awesome event.
General admission and grandstand tickets are now on sale at www.willowbankraceway.com.au, with special multi-day pre-purchase tickets – offering substantial savings over single day tickets - once again available ahead of the event.

The FUCHS Winternationals will play host to the final round of racing for up to 500 racers across all national championship brackets, including the hugely popular professional ‘group one’ categories of Top Fuel, Top Alcohol, Top Doorslammer, Pro Stock, Top Bike and Pro Stock Motorcycle over its four days in front of an expected 30,000 spectators.

SCHEDULE – final schedule to be released after close of entries. Approximate schedule (subject to change) as follows:
- Thursday – on-track action from midday to 6.00pm (group three and four competitors only)
- Friday – qualifying for all brackets from 8.00am to 5.30pm (including feature racing brackets)
- Saturday – on-track action from 8.00am to 5.30pm, including final qualifying for feature brackets and racing for all other brackets
- Sunday – on-track action from 8.00am to 5.30pm, with racing for all brackets
TICKETING - please note multi-day passes are available for PRE-PURCHASE ONLINE up until midday Tuesday 2nd June 2015. Children aged 13 and under gain free general admission.
